MOSCOW – Russian forces have launched strikes on energy infrastructure and military-related targets in Ukraine, the Russian Defense Ministry said Sunday.
According to the ministry, the strikes targeted key facilities within Ukraine’s fuel and energy sector, as well as sites used for the preparation and launch of long-range unmanned aerial vehicles.
The raid also struck temporary deployment sites of Ukrainian armed formations and foreign mercenaries across 144 locations, the ministry added.
In addition, Russian air defense systems reportedly downed eight guided aerial bombs and 244 fixed-wing drones over the past 24 hours, the ministry said.
